PARA’ CELEBRATES 40 YEARS OF PONTIROLO NUOVO PLANT: AN ITALIAN STORY
On June 20th 2010 we want to remember an history which resembles a marvellous film, began exactly forty years ago in Pontirolo Nuovo in the province of Bergamo. "Parà" is the title of this film which tells about a firm completely Italian, built thanks to the passion and the job of many women and men, actors protagonists of this successful history.
It is like one of that old black and white movies that, after forty years, it still makes us dreaming.
The family Parravicini wants to celebrate these first 40 years together with all the employees and their families: the men who have make this big success become possible.
At 10.00 the parish priest of Pontirolo Nuovo will celebrate the Holy Mass inside the industrial plants, the place of daily job for hundreds of people.
At 11.00 will intervene the Major of Pontirolo Nuovo.
It will be followed by the award ceremony for the employees who have made the history of this establishment.
To midday a buffet will be offered to the employees and their families. They won't miss the entertainments for the kids, with the magician, the inflatable dolls, the children make up and the balloons.
A big surprise will be also reserved to the adults. |

PARA' AT DUBAI FOR R+T MIDDLE EAST
R+T Middle East - staged for the first time in 2010 - is the only professional trade show dedicated on shutters, sun protection, rolling doors in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. The event have been held from May 10 to 12 2010 at the new exhibition halls of the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (DICEC).
R+T Middle East is the first choice for construction companies, engineering companies and real estate developers.
The trade fair is organised by Messe Stuttgart under the technical and conceptual sponsorship of the Federal Association for Manufacturers of Roller shutters and Sun protection (Bundesverband Rollladen + Sonnenschutz e.V.).

PARA' AT PROPOSTE
A VIRTUAL WORLD TOUR TROUGH THE FABRIC
Parà confirms, on the occasion of “Proposte” Exhibition, its role as world leader in the production of upholstery fabrics made of natural fibres and solution dyed acrylic fabrics for outdoor furniture.
There are two new products: Opera in 100% cotton and Thesium made of pure linen which are enriching the wide range of fabrics proposed by the company based in Brianza.
The new collections presented at Villa Erba make think back over a virtual world tour: classic English flowers, fresh water and coloured flowers from France, all rich in shades and nuances. PARA' AT PROPOSTE 2010
Parà will be present at PROPOSTE 2010 the 5-6-7 May.
In 1993, a large number of the most qualified Italian furnishing textiles industrialists promoted the PROPOSTE fair. What was needed was a specialised and selective fair, which, starting from the consolidated Made in Italy, would highlight the quality and professionalism of Made in Europe.
SPECIALISED because the exhibitors are exclusively direct producers of furnishing and curtain fabrics.
SELECTIVE because these exhibitors share at least three characteristics: the qualification of their companies and products, their professional fairness, their commitment to research and experimentation in the field of aesthetics and in that of technologies.
The fair is not open to the public. Visitors to PROPOSTE ACCESS THE FAIR ONLY IF INVITED by the Operative Secretariat of the same fair, and rigorously chosen among the following categories: Textile editors, Producers of upholstered furniture, Wholesalers, Wide distribution chains, Converters, Contract operators.

OUTentico 2010. THE HEARTBEAT OF OUTDOOR DESIGN FELT IN DOWNTOWN MILAN SPONSORED BY TEMPOTEST
Starting from 14th to 19th April TEMPOTEST sponsors an exhibiting area dedicated to Outdoor Design at the premises of the Architects’ Association in Milan. SUN gathers products, prototypes, and projects for outdoor furnishing and equipment, both for public and private use, signed by renowned designers and young design talents.
The focus of experimentation will include outdoor lighting, Urban Design, and sustainability, giving life to a selection of objects of unique international standing. These include top-level products from the formal and aesthetic viewpoint, as well as characterized by technological and sustainable contents that respond to or anticipate the present and future market demand.
The déhors of the Associations’ seat will be the object of a thorough restyling based on vertical green outfits, enriched with stylish furnishing items. 100%ECO furnishing, prêt-à- porter vegetable gardens, oversized pots, multifunctional modules: at OUTentico SUN offers some of the projects awarded at SUN.LAB 2009. Create experimental scenarios, brand new concepts, top-level designs not yet in production: this is the purpose of SUN.LAB, for a creative outdoor, the international competition for young outdoor design talents conceived by the Show. Indoors, SUN organizes a continuous video display of the final projects produced at the High-level Specialization Course of Poli.Design known as “Outdoor Experience Design” which TEMPOTEST is an academic partner.

This year Parà will take part for the first time to the fair MADE EXPO which will be held in Milano from 3 till 6 February. This show is dedicated to the world of the architecture, to the design and to the house building. It is a fair that has reached a great success, so much to be considered the smaller sister of the “Salone del Mobile” and also an advance of what will be the EXPO 2015 which will take place in Milan.
