An explosion of fire was the origin of the entire universe and its stars, planets and heavenly bodies. The red of fire and the brown of earth are thus bound by an indissoluble bond, in which that destructive rage became the creative force that transformed the state of things forever. Red is the quintessential representation of energy that, along with the wind, fashioned the red of the canyons, immortalising them in their immobile fluidity; as if the vital force of the earth had been impressed forever on the hot rocks, that the blazing sun kisses with fiery passion.
